The first exposure to Chatham Hill wine came while the wife and I were attending the Annual Great Grapes festival in the Raleigh area. There are several NC wineries represented but the samples of this fabulous Peach Sangria lead to the purchase of a glass and then a visit to the winery. We were very pleased with what we found at the winery and without hesitation joined their wine club. We try to support as many NC wineries as possible and love to try new wines but Marek at Chatham proved to produce wines a step above most of what I have tasted so far. He is truly bringing out the best of NC grapes and I believe him and others like him are giving CA wines a run for their money. I am very pleased to see Marek’s style of wine making in the Raleigh area. My personal favorites are his Cab Frank, Syrah and Zin but I also like the blends. Their Christmas Red spiced up was a big hit at my last two Christmas parties.
